Will anyone other than you ever fuel the POS? If the answer is, "No," that solves a lot of problems; if I understand POS's correctly, you can simply uncheck the corp and alliance access checkboxes and make the POS accessable by password only. If the answer is, "Yes," then we need to know some hard data on who can steal the mommy out from under you.
Do you have a way to transport the mommy out of the system?
Do you have a method to transfer the mommy in mind? If OZ signs on as a trustee, he could potentially broker the deal for a small fee, perhaps?
Are you going to require some deposit up front from a committed buyer, or are you going to throw this on the sell forums a week before it finishes baking? If the former, the first buyer could perhaps actually be buying shares and thus effectively be getting a discount on his mommy, not to mention future dividends.
Have you worked out how many, for instance, Drone Bay BPO's it will take running in parallel to complete this project? It may end up being far more efficient to acquire them in bulk from an existing producer.
Especially given the Kali changes, I'd strongly suggest a Nyx. Wyvern and Aeon get bonuses to their tank, which really isn't all that important when your primary defense is the ability to jump out any time you want. The Hel, quite frankly, is just terrible. But the Nyx's damage bonus actually matters on a mommy. But then again, it's entirely possible that a lot of alliances already have Nyxen, and would like to equip one or two Caldari, Amarr, or Minmatar pilots, and you could gain a niche. /me shrugs.

Also:
1) I really like this pre-IPO prospectus, but I would suggest allowing people to reserve shares now. No reason to let the excitement of reading your prospectus dissipate. :)
2) Can you change the OP title?

I'd like to reserve 100 shares.
I'd still like to see a good Gantt chart for the components involved in making this beast; from everything I'd heard, it was a logistical nightmare (which is why I haven't so much as peeped at your proposed salary).

Oh, and in case I didn't mention it--I'd be happy to act as one of the trustees for this corporation.
Still awaiting that Gantt chart. I think there's a F/oSS project manager in OpenOffice. :)

I have offered my services as one. I'm sure you would be welcomed as one, as well. OZ has had to politely decline due to lack of available alts.
Frankly, I know I'm not highest on the pecking order of Market Discussions personalities, so if I see a flood of well-known people offering their services as auditors, I'll step down graciously and offer the post. I just saw it as a good way to support an investor in ZERO., and a way of helping to ensure my investment in this venture is well-looked-after.
Of course, in the end, Montaire is going to hold a mothership worth approximately the same isk as the amount raised by the IPO; he could run off with that and there's not the slightest thing I could do to stop him. Thus, as ever, caveat investor.

Agreed, but that's actually only stealing about 12b of the invested isk (if I remember min cost for a mommy correctly). The rest is in locked-down BPO's (and some sunk costs in fuel, cap ship ass'y array, etc.).

That's correct. This project is on "indefinite hiatus" at the moment. Feel free to allocate funds elsewhere for a month or three while this gets sorted out.
